Production Results
Endurance 5 KW turbine produces more energy per unit area than a 25 KW wind turbine (in certain wind resources).
Here is a comparison of one of our Endurance Wind Turbines (5 KW ) and a 25 KW Enertech Wind Turbine.

An Endurance test unit was installed on a 107-ft tower in rural Shell Rock, Iowa, in early November 2006. It has had very little unscheduled unavailability to date.
Located on the same site as the Endurance test unit is a 25-kW Enertech wind turbine, which permits energy comparisons that help assess the Endurance performance. The plot above compares daily energy production for the two machines for the month of December 2006.
Knowing that the Enertech sweeps an area approximately six times larger than the Endurance, the energy production ratio suggests the Endurance is 28% more efficient with its area than the Enertech. The low wind speeds common at this site further testify that this outcome is not the result of different stall characteristics or pitch settings. These results have been consistent over the course of the Endurance testing and operation.
