  • President and Chief Executive OfficerGlenn Johnson
    • Glenn founded Endurance Wind Power in 2007 and is responsible for the company's overall direction and growth. His passion for affordable clean energy for everyone drives his vision for Endurance to be a market leader in the distributed wind power industry.
    • Prior to Endurance, Glenn founded Comsource Broadband Technologies Corp. a North American based communications distribution Company. In six short years Glenn built Comsource into the number one communications distributor in Canada for both sales and profit amassing close to $70,000,000 in sales and $6,200,000 in earnings.
    • Glenn has always recognized opportunities and has also owned successful businesses in the real estate and development sector as well as the hospitality industry. In 2001, Glenn founded Glace Capital Corporation a merchant bank and private equity investment firm that specializes in the investment and restructuring of established companies with compelling opportunities for growth.
    • Glenn has received recognition as a finalist in the Ernst and Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" program, was named one of Business in Vancouver's "Top 40 under 40" as well as Profit Magazine's "Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies".
  • VP of World Wide Sales and MarketingKevin Heaney
    • Kevin is a proven professional with strategic global vision and over 30 years of entrepreneurial executive management experience. Working with global leaders in the Transportation and Telecommunications industry he brings with him a strong background in strategy development / implementation, corporate sales, channel distribution, alliance management, consumer marketing, budget control, operations and technical implementation.
    • Kevin held the title of Vice President of Sales and Customer Operations for Vodafone, Bucharest Romania from 2002-2006.  There he reorganized the sales and customer service organizations and grew the business into hundreds of millions of dollars per year.
    • Kevin was President and Chief Operating Officer for Vancouver B.C. based E-Dispatch - Wireless Data Inc. There, Kevin developed sales distribution and organizational models for a fast growing wireless services company. Kevin also played a key role in the identification and selection of a strategic partner to merge with (Air IQ) and assisted in the merging of both organizations.
    • From 1994 - 2000 Kevin held various Senior Level Executive positions at Telus Inc (previously BC Tel) Canada's second largest telecommunications company after the merger between BC Tel and Telus.   One of Kevin's most notable positions was from 1994-1997 as Vice President of Corporate Sales at BC TEL Mobility. During this time he achieved record results in revenue growth. Kevin also played a key role during the merger with Telus as he was charged with merging 5 different business segments in two separate provinces into a combined $500 million entity. 
    • From 1988 - 1994 Kevin was Pacific Region Vice President of LOOMIS COURIER SERVICE, Vancouver B.C. - There, Kevin achieved the highest level of profitability in any region in Canada and reduced operating expenses to the lowest direct costs in the industry.
  • VP of Channel SalesDoug Hicks
    • Doug is one of the founding members of Endurance Wind Power Inc. - since the company's inception Doug has focused much of his time on building out a proven network of Regional Distributors throughout North America that will support the growth of local channels and customers.
    • Prior to Endurance, Doug formed his own Internet marketing services company, NetPerform Corporate Solutions, his business focused on building channels and networks to help small to medium sized businesses cost effectively grow their revenues and expand their markets nationally and internationally.
    • In the mid 90's , Doug was one of the early Canadian Pioneers of the Internet. He managed one of 5 regions in Canada for Netscape Communications Inc where he was responsible for all direct and indirect channels from 1997-2000. Working with executives of Fortune 200 companies and Resellers throughout the region Doug helped usher in a new era of doing business for North American Companies.
    • Before Netscape Communications Doug worked for global brands such as Canon, NCR, AT&T and Rogers Communications. During this time Doug received top sales awards in each of the years that he worked for these world leading organizations and attributes most of his success on his ability to effectively partner with Value Added Resellers and Third Party Channels.
  • VP of ManufacturingCal Murrison
    • Cal is responsible for overseeing Endurance's manufacturing activities. When Cal joined Endurance, he successfully built the S-250 wind turbine production line, crucial to getting the S-Series to market meeting consumer demand. Cal now manages a team dedicated to optimizing production of the S, E and G Series turbines.
    • Cal is also President and CEO of Koenders Windmills Inc. and Superior Windmill Inc., world leaders in windmill aeration products. At Koenders, Cal oversees the production of over 6,000 windmills per/year and his expertise in sourcing, volume purchase agreements, IP protection and manufacturing help make Endurance produce well engineered products at low prices.
    • Before operating Koenders Windmills, Cal was in the Real Estate and Construction industry where he built commercial buildings and industrial parks all over Canada. Cal is an entrepreneur with a close eye on the bottom line without ever sacrificing quality of product.
  • VP of Business DevelopmentDave Rankin
    • Dave has been with Endurance since inception and is responsible for corporate finance and business development.
    • Dave has strong management and financial consulting experience in government, insurance, technology, hospitality, natural resource, real estate, manufacturing and communications sectors. Dave has added value to his clients businesses by adding leadership, innovation and best practices for all his clients - skills he continues to use internally with Endurance.
    • Dave has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and is currently a Director of two public companies.
  • Co-founder, Principal EngineerDean Davis
    • Dean has always been passionate about wind power and in his early school years even built a Small Wind Turbine. Dean is a founding partner of Windward Engineering and started the Wind Energy consulting company in 1994 with Dr. Craig Hansen. For the last 13 years Dean has been testing and designing small and large wind turbines and has over thirteen years of experience in the field of wind energy with a strong emphasis in computer aided design and small wind turbine testing.
    • At Endurance, Dean provides senior technical leadership throughout the life-cycle of our products. Working out of Endurance's test facility in Spanish Fork Utah, Dean has no less than four operational Endurance Wind Power turbines ranging from 5 to 50 kW.
    • Dean is well known for many of his published papers including his work on wind turbine aerodynamic subroutines. Dean and Windward Engineering have worked closely with the US National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) and The US Department of Energy (DOE) for a number of years.
    • Dean has an M.S. Mechanical Engineering, University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah and a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California
  • Co-founder, Principal EngineerDr. David Laino
    • David, a co-founder of Windward Engineering 1999 and his responsibilities include providing senior technical leadership throughout the life-cycle of our products. He has extensive expertise in the analysis of wind turbine mechanical systems making him an integral part of Endurance's product line growth.
    • Earlier in David's career, he worked at the US National Renewable Energy Lab. (NREL), Golden, CO, in the summer of summer 1992, '93, '94 where he developed wind turbine computer modeling capabilities to analyze innovative designs, and evaluate proposed safety standards. He also analyzed and compared test and simulation data in validation studies.
    • David is an active member of the American Wind Energy Association and Co-Administrator of the US Technical Advisory Group to IEC Technical Committee for Wind Turbine Standards. He is also active on the Small Wind Coordinating Committee that is drafting rules for certification of small wind turbines in North America.
    • David has a Ph.D., Mechanical Engineering, 1997, from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah and a M.S. Mechanical Engineering, 1994, from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1991 David received his B.S. Aeronautical Engineering, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY.
    • David has also published a number of papers that are well known in the industry.
  • Technical DirectorJeff MacAulay
    • As Technical Director, Jeff provides project portfolio management and functional management for Endurance Wind Power's global technical staff including engineering, technical support, product training and technical publications.
    • He has a background in embedded hardware design from the fuel cell and electricity metering industries. Jeff earned a degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Victoria and is a certified Professional Project Manager.
